Onion Marmalade
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cups finely diced onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- In a sauté pan over medium heat, add oil and onions and sauté until onions are translucent, about 8 minutes. Add garlic and sauté one minute more. Add balsamic, sugar and salt and simmer until liquid has absorbed, and onion mixture is glossy, about 2 minutes.
- Store refrigerated for up to 3 weeks.
